Sequential Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (SIPC) is a well established treatment modality for lymphoedema. Treatment protocols can be refined to suit lymphoedema stage and used in conjunction with complementary products to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes. Please join us for this in-depth discussion about how SIPC can be used based on different patient presentations.

Key learning objectives to be achieved within this seminar are:-

• Understand the clinical rationale of SIPC based on the latest evidence-based literature. Relate this to the application of treatment for different stages of lymphoedema and associated symptoms.
• Understand the practical application of SIPC and complementary therapies (such as foam chip bags) to lymphoedema patient case studies in areas of: truncal oedema; hand/foot lymphoedema; and areas of fibrosis from lymphoedema.
• Develop an appreciation of new SIPC technology available through Medi-Rent Pty Ltd.

This seminar is for qualified lymphoedema therapists who are familiar with the basic application of SIPC. A summary of the latest clinical evidence as well as treatment protocols that can be used as a guide to assist you in your clinical practice will provided.
